Weekends have a cruel trend of slowly creeping upon us and then disappearing far too abruptly. On Friday afternoon I was fully accepting of and anticipating a weekend of tea and long naps as the symptoms of a cold seemed to be overcoming me, however by Sunday morning I woke up feeling refreshed, healthy, and determined to make the most of the last day of the weekend. We woke bright and early for a pancake breakfast, followed by drinks and a tour of Steam Whistle Brewery, our future wedding venue, some errand running, an early dinner and a movie night over festive-inspired pumpkin cake. I also managed to fit in a little bit of fall shopping (the mornings are getting a little too chilly for bare legs) and nail polish experimenting. How was your weekend?
