So long San Fran...

Jacket: Arcteryx and c/o my fiancé
Photo Taken at Twin Peaks, San Francisco

We are leaving San Francisco today, and it is feeling very bittersweet. Although I am looking forward to moving back to Toronto and reuniting with friends and family, it is very sad to be leaving such a beautiful city. No where else have I experienced such pretty architecture and scenery visible from nearly every angle of the city, an abundance of great local eateries and shops, and an overall creative and exciting atmosphere. San Francisco will always be home away from home; the romantic city where I got engaged and truly discovered personal passions and interests. If you're ever planning a trip to SF let me know and I'd love to share with you some of my favourite spots.

Although my landscape is changing, my blog will still be here, so please check back soon as I write to you from my hometown.

  3. Awww Melissa, San Francisco will miss you lots! But like you said, it'll be extra refreshing to reunite with your friends and family back home. :) I can't wait to see some pictures of the Canadian sights and landmarks! I'm so happy I had gotten the chance to meet and hang out with you, even if it was just twice!

  4. Look at it this way, you don't have to adjust to a 15-hour difference! God help me when I return home :( It's a 20-hour flight (one stopover in San Fran)!
