Dress: vintage (similar); Heels: Nine West (similar); Clutch: Banana Republic; Necklace: Forever 21 (splurge)

This dress was actually passed down to me by my aunt (not sure if that qualifies it as vintage? Family heirloom just sounds a little bit too intense).  Either way, it's 100% silk, Canadian made, and in a classic neutral shade, which makes it so easy to wear and dress up or down. I wore it over the weekend with leopard print heels to keep the look fairly monochromatic, but a colourful sandal (something suede perhaps for transitioning into fall) would be a fun contrast as well.

Hope you had a great weekend (long weekend for those of you in Canada)! Also, wanted to say a quick thanks for all the support, encouragement, and new followers last week! The blogging community it by far one of the friendliest. Enjoy your Tuesday!

  1. You look stunning. Love the dress. It really does look current, when something is well made and has a classic shape it lasts and looks amazing.

  2. That dress is so fabulous on you! I really LOVE how you paired it with those leopard heels. . .stunning!

  3. Love the added detail with the leopard pumps!
